Matching Improvements

Team Battle Matching Adjustments

Matching conditions for Team Battle Ranked Matches have been overhauled.
Starting from Season 6, you will no longer match with players with vastly different ranks.

In addition, even when forming a party through Invitations, you will no longer be able to enter a Ranked Match if there is too large of a disparity between your members' ranks.
When you want to create a party with friends of different ranks, go for Free Matches!

We will continue to optimize the conditions of Ranked Matches by adjusting the limit of ratings, and implementing other improvements to the balance of Ranked Matches as a whole.

Gum Weapon Parameter Adjustments

The Ninjala development team is dedicated to ensuring that players can enjoy a wide variety of battling styles.
After careful observation of winning percentages by each gum weapon and weapon popularity, we have implemented a host of balance adjustments.
Ninja Yo-yo, Shinobi Spinner, ASAKUSA Wheel, as well as some Gum Shoots and Gum Ninjutsu which had low winning percentages have been upgraded, while IPPON Katana, Scroll Blade, and Shinobuzz Paper Fan have received balance adjustments due to their overwhelmingly high victory and usage rates.
Plus, a new effect has been added to the already existing Shinobi Card, Master of Change.

We hope these refinements will allow players to continue to enjoy diverse styles of play in Ninjala battles.

With this adjustment, damage has been increased, so it will be possible to defeat your opponents faster.

Mellow à la Mode Trick Ball

- Decreased damage resulting from normal attacks.

- The following adjustments have been made to "Beyond the Gum":

You will now move less far when attacking.
Cancel timing for Gum Guard has been sped up.

Trick Ball allowed players to score IPPONs with relative ease with a medium sized weapon by
performing combos through Gum Shoots and normal attacks.
These adjustments were made since Trick Ball became too powerful when combined with the enhancements to Gum Balloon listed below.
In order to reduce the power of medium weapons, the gum damage of normal attacks has been removed.

Gum Laser

- If a Gum Net that is being deployed gets hit by a Gum Laser, neither of them will disappear.

The Gum Bind time for small Lasers has been greatly extended, whereas the time for medium and large Lasers has been only slightly extended.

Gum Searcher

- Increased homing ability.

Piercing Mixer

- Drones will now be visible through walls when active.

Dragon Lord

・ If a target is destroyed while you are homing onto them, you will now home onto another nearby target.

In the past, when a target was destroyed during homing, players would end up wasting their Dragon Lord attack.
With this adjustment, rest assured that even if your target is destroyed during homing, you will now home onto another target nearby instead.
The Dragon Lord reigns supreme once more.

Shinobi Beast

・ Effect duration has been shortened.

Since it was too easy for players to raise their scores compared to other Gum Ninjutsu, we decided to shorten the effect duration to balance out the power of the attack.

Shinobi Disco

・ Expanded attack range.
・ Increased the speed at which the attack range expands.
・Super Armor will remain on for a set time after you're finished.

There have been many cases of opponents stealing the fans of players at the disco after they're finished.
With this adjustment, not only will you attract more fans, with the addition of your Super Armor,
you can avoid having those fans stolen after you're done.

Master of Change

- Staying still during your morphed state gives you one strengthened attack that can score you an IPPON.
Master of Change has received a new effect with this adjustment.
If you stay still while morphed for a certain period of time, you can Gum Bind your opponent with your first gum weapon attack.

- Increased the auto-target range for players that are behind you and not shown on screen.
- If you are auto-targeting multiple targets, opponents that are invincible after respawning will be deprioritized.
- If you use auto-target immediately after receiving an attack, you will now auto-target the player who attacked you.

When attempting to auto-target another opponent when near a drone or in battle,
there were cases where an opponent who had suddenly respawned would be auto-targeted.
Therefore auto-target behavior has been adjusted as a countermeasure.

Score Adjustments

- Increased score received when achieving a K.O.
- Increased score received when defeating an opponent on a successful parry.

Scores have been adjusted to favor players who defeat opponents in battle.
